My stepmom is crazy with OCD?

So you say it all got worse when your step mom found out you were going in the Navy? Well she probably is feeling the loss of you leaving soon, and the anger is coming out in other ways. I think she doesnt like change, many of us don't. You should just be sympathetic and tell her your sorry,( also she does deserve something on Mothers Day lol) tell her you hope the both of you can put it behind you. You know why? Because you don't want to go into the service being in a fight with her, trust me it will make it hard on you and you'll have enough to deal with being yelled at by some Navy man telling you when to sleep, rise, eat and pooh lol not to mention the exercise lol. I always told my kids > no way! your not joining, and none of them did. I even kicked a cruiter out of my home when he came to talk my son into the marines, and my mom even told him to >> stand , about face and walk out that door lol The reason i hate when kids join is because everyone i knew who joined when i was in high school hated it. One guy cried his head off during boot camp hehe. My own brother joined the Navy right out of high school, although after boot camp he liked it better, then he tried civilan life but no jobs available so he rejoined , retired from Navy and rejoined as a civilan and makes about 90 grand a year. It did work out for him, hes out to sea as we speak lol. Good luck with the step mom just give her time to adjust.
