What was your birth like?

I gave birth at hospital after being 2weeks past due date-was induced labor- and i had my husband w/me! I didn't want 2 know what i was having so we both were surprised is was...a girl!! Was there about 2hrs i guess before being induced(had a bout of morning/day sickness inbetween) dr. gave me meds(don't rem name it was 2 1/2yrs ago.) Everything was going good until i laid on my back for too long & baby's blood pressure went down(would have 2 have emergency c-section if it didn't get back to norm.) but all went well! i had my baby rose (8lbs 2oz) in 22mins! Hooray! but had to stay at hosp. for3DAYS!!(no horray) i had a high white(ibelieve) blood cell count. fed when i held her 1st time although she was a total sleepy head. had to douse myself for awhile in that area-due to tearing-and had been sewn back 2gether. other than that was my very 1st baby-& we're all doing very well!! good luck and congrats!
